In this research work, inkjet printing process was used for printing organic solar cells. Inkjet printing process is a digital printing process where minute droplets of ink are sprayed onto the surface of the substrate. This thesis discusses about the challenges faced in printing electron transport layer, hole transport layer and the photoactive layer of organic solar cell and the possible solutions for the same. This thesis also discusses about enlargement in absorption spectrum using ternary blend and improvement in charge transport using special additives. %I Monash University
