Being born outside of Australia, greater symptomatology and behaviours, and greater therapeutic relationship were associated with improved outcomes, regardless of treatment type. Greater social support and no family history of gambling were associated with improved outcomes, but only for specific treatment types. This is one of the largest and most comprehensive studies to examine factors associated with problem gambling treatment success, in a Victorian sample. These findings can help maximise treatment success rates by tailoring treatments to meet individual needs. %I Monash University
