Waddell, Dianne Quality Management: The Practitioners Perspective This paper reports the findings of a research project that investigates the roles and responsibilities of five Quality Managers practicing in Australia. This investigation is part of a larger research project focusing on the education, career progression, job content and reward perceptions of production/operations managers and quality managers. Our investigation shows that quality managers are not a homogeneous group and the five quality managers studied have been classified as The Pragmatist, The Conventionalist, The Commercialist, The Opportunist and The Specialist. 1998;monash:7149;1959.1/36871 2017-06-07
