One of the unique attractions of this class of materials to both scientific and engineering communities is related to their layered porous morphologies. In particular, ion transport in this type of porous structure is an important property that both probes the structure and is important to give it properties for the applications mentioned above. The research in this PhD thesis involves the design and engineering of the layered porous structures of graphene/polymer layered composites, and exploration of ion transport within this material. %I Monash University
