Kembayau (Dacryodes rostrata), an indigenous fruit found in Malaysia, is reported to possess significant nutritional content and rich in antioxidants. Present study aimed to explore and develop a systematic approach to retrieve its valuable natural antioxidant for valorisation purpose. In particular, this study focused on the characterisation of oil, selection of the preferred part of fruit with highest antioxidant content for the assessment of optimization of different method of extractions, followed by partial purification to reduce the impurities from the crude extract. %I Monash University
