Fully-Integrated 3D Image Sensor Systems using SPADs and Photodiodes SIMON MARTIN KENNEDY 10.4225/03/5aeafbcd6a210 https://bridges.monash.edu/articles/thesis/Fully-Integrated_3D_Image_Sensor_Systems_using_SPADs_and_Photodiodes/6207593 This thesis presents techniques to fully integrate both single photon avalanche diode and photodiode sensors to produce a monolithic 3D image capture system capable of simultaneously measuring intensity and distance. The proposed sensor enables true 3D image capture using a single optical lens and captures significantly more data than a single pixel technology sensor. The designed image sensor system is ideal for inclusion in autonomous systems such as micro unmanned aircraft systems where high quality, low latency 3D image data is required and there are strict payload restrictions. 2018-05-02 04:11:47 Single Photon Avalanche Diode Image Sensors Time of Flight Electromagnetic Compatibility Fully-Integrated DC/DC Converters Microelectronics and Integrated Circuits Photonics and Electro-Optical Engineering (excl.
