In the field of study, hydrogen production via aqueous phase reforming (APR) reaction in particular proposed in enhancing the understanding of connection between the parameters involved in catalyst preparation and catalyst performance. Hydrogen being a clean source might play an important role in the future to be used as a renewable energy carrier for vehicle and electric plants. However, the primary concern of studies would still be focusing on the additive effect of secondary metal on nickel based catalyst with APR as the assistance reaction to develop a greater fundamental understanding of the catalyst.
