I investigated how they have developed and implemented their practices in recent decades, and how their leaders reflect elements of organisational learning processes in their business including cultural-historical activity theory, expansive learning at work and activity theory. The study concluded that IKEA and EY have provided global leadership in this field in their efforts to work towards a more sustainable future.
