An imbalance in ROS generation and elimination has been linked to the development of NAFLD, but the precise mechanisms are not clear. This body of research redefines the role of ROS in the pathogenesis of NAFLD and demonstrates a protective role for ROS in NAFLD pathogenesis. %I Monash University
