Angkor, located in northwest Cambodia, was one of the world's most impressive cities in the years between 900 and 1431 CE. With its elaborate temples, canals, dependable agriculture and powerful military, Angkor supported three quarters of a million people, making it the most populous pre-industralised city in the world.

In this digibook (comprised of a prologue and seven chapters), take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of this mighty Khmer civilisation, as described by Chinese emissary Zhou Daguan.
