Investigating MEK inhibition in the treatment of multiple myeloma

Multiple myeloma is an incurable haematologic malignancy. This thesis examines the use of a new medication that targets a specific mutation present in multiple myeloma. We show this treatment is effective in a subset of myeloma, and its effects enhanced when used in combination with existing treatments. This medication offers a new treatment options for a subset of multiple myeloma patients.
