Several studies were conducted to achieve the outcomes of this thesis including a review, a survey, a focus group interview and clinical research. This thesis has found that although telemedicine was effective in improving sugar levels in diabetes patients the cost of implementation was higher compared to current diabetes management. Increased education, improved infrastructure and reducing the cost of medical health devices are required.
