On God and the Prophet: Human Rights and the Christian Experience of Post-Independence Pakistan

This thesis contends that Pakistan’s blasphemy laws are a violation of a number of international human rights norms, in particular, norms found in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). This thesis examines the impact of these blasphemy laws on minorities, particularly Christians.
