thesis
posted on 2019-01-16, 08:38 authored by JOHN RICHARD WHITEHEAD
This thesis creates a better understanding of how culture influences the Fijian criminal justice systems responses to sexual victimisation and offending, and argues that these is a space for customary responses to sexual offences. However, this should not be in the form of the current bulubulu (the customary reconciliation ceremony of the iTaukei people\Indigenous Fijians) ceremony.
