Texture Development in Permanent Magnetic Materials via Thermomechanical Processing

thesis
posted on 2018-12-03, 01:53 authored by LUKE SAMUEL BESLEY
This thesis investigates and develops novel manufacturing processes suited towards improving the performance of newer generations of permanent magnet compounds, which contain a lower amount of critical rare earth elements, presenting both cost and resource savings. These findings could help facilitate the upscaling and industry-scale manufacturing of these novel compounds.
