journal contribution
posted on 2017-06-07, 03:54 authored by Bardoel, E. AnneThe time demands of professional jobs such as law, medicine and accountancy are high and studies have shown work-family conflict has become a major obstacle to progress in gender equity. Indeed, success depends on "primary commitment to work and career" and in some cases, participating in the "face time" culture. This paper will provide a framework for understanding the relationship between flexible work options and potential dual agenda outcomes for individuals and organisations.
