Dr Carlo Rindi Nuzzolo is an Egyptologist specialising in the study of burial customs, the interpretation of craftsmanship techniques, the investigation of regional styles and religious and socio-cultural interconnections. He has been lecturing, tutoring, and coordinating subjects and projects related to ancient civilizations, digital humanities, collecting and provenance research, cultural heritage preservation and protection for more than 12 years. He is Marie Curie Global Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and CNR-ISPC, Italy. Previously, he was Lead Curator at the British Museum, where he specialised in monitoring the art market as well as key heritage sites. Carlo completed his PhD at Monash University, where was recently in charge of a curatorial project to organise, describe, and make digitally accessible the Archaeological Museum of the Centre for Ancient Cultures at Monash.
